both are definately not like driving a minivan as far a visibilty goes but i would say the the camaro may be a little bit worse since its pillars are a little bit bigger. space wise the camaro is much biggger front seat wise, and would then by deduction be bigger inthe back seat too. comfort wise we sat on the iver's cloth 300k miles driven seats and they were firm. so best i can really say is expect the seat to be comfortable. i have yet to sit in a chevy or a gm for that matter that isnt comfortable, position and seat firmness wise.

Seeing out of the front windshield was no problem for me....or at least, I didn't see any problem. The rear view mirror stuck down a bit, but Al told me that they were working on making the bottom strip of the rearview mirror smaller adding to outside visability. |

Look on http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...S3Urwn7ZKgl-Mg and click on UP TO SPEED> Then click on media and listen to what the Camaro Diciples have to say. It's worth a look and it gets you more excited to get a Camaro.

What is a Maro?
The Camaro, based on photo's alone, as a substantially better interior than the Challenger, no question. |

From the pics and reviews lower than something like a Malibu, higher than something like a Corvette.

One thing I found with my 4th Gen is that when test driving and the day I took it home I was overwhelmed by the layout and the greenhouse being so tight. But a week later it all just sort of became so normal that I never gave it a second thought again. By comparison when I got in my parents sedan to drive it felt like I was driving a fishbowl and everyone was looking at me. Just saying that its all perspective and I think any vehicle takes a bit of time to get used to. Its tough to make a decision based on just a few minutes in a showroom or testdrive.

Don't be worried. But DO sit in the Camaro when it arrives at dealers.
I sat in the IVER at Indy, and let me tell you: It was Brilliant! Comfort, room, controls, materials, and atmosphere. It was all A-class. Absolutely nothing to worry about. |

The only thing that concerns me is the height of the dash. I know the hood and firewall is high (higher than a first gen for some reason), but looking at newer pictures of the interior i am a little concerned. I'm 6'0'', but i have long legs, so i don't sit super high in a car. So that will be interesting.
I havn't seen much of the back seat, but it looks better than the last couple gens. That hump in the old cars had carpet that was very abbrasive to rest your arm on. The seats were also way to low in the back. It gave a very claustrophobic feeling. |
