They called me lastnight at 10:00 pm to renew . I havn't had the car for a month yet. I asked if I could transfer it to my Caddy for the winter he said "yes ,for a small fee". I asked him how much he said "69.95'' . He asked for my credit card number again. I explained I already gave it to them . He told me it was a new car and he needed the number again. WTF?

Do NOT give XM your credit card number! That would be an even worse nightmare.

My car isn't used in the winter months either.
I figured it was worth it.
$23/month or $23?

I am calling soon for my 5 month $19.99 special. I will let everyone know how it goes.

I've had a number of subscriptions for a number of XM and Sirius radios over the years. Overall, I was generally happy with it until the merge.

Over the years they've added more channels and dropped the audio quality. It used to sound really good in the early years. Most of the channels nobody listens to. I wish they'd drop the dead weight and bump up the quality.

I only have about 5 or 6 stations that I listen to regularly, and I really miss them.

I too am sitting on both the $19.99/5 month and the $77/year offers.

I've had problems with renewal/cancelling like many of you have. I have found the magic words to get an easy cancellation. Tell them your radio is broken. They can't renew a broken radio. They will offer to sell you new ones, tell them you're trading your car in on a new one. All of the questions and promos stop and they will just process the cancellation.

So i gave OnStar my Credit card # when i picked up the vehicle. Is that how XM gets your CC#? If so i cancel that card and got a new one so i think ill be ok.....

I havnt had a problem with XM before and i really like there programming. When i got my receiver stolen they transferred the remaining months to my dads account because i wasnt going to buy a new receiver since i was getting the Camaro in 6 months, so theve done good by me so far.

First off, Ive never had a problem with XM and even when i had my receiver unit stolen they transferred the remaining account to my father because i wasn't getting a new receiver since i was buying the Camaro in six months.

Like most of you i was waiting for the calls to start but they never did! My service still worked a month or more after expiration but i didn't use it so instead of a call i got a 6 month free offer in the mail which i love and still have had no problems with XM.

Just trying to give my experience since they seem to screw up with everyone else.
