The info on this site has msrp, and you want a pleasant way to let him know you don't appreciate him pressuring you like that. Look you can't feel sorry for him and he owes you for buying those cars not the other way around. You have no reason what so ever to be loyal to him, he has shown his true colors don't order from him.

Forget what I said about Camaro Scotty he ran out of allotment. I'm sorry to scotty or anyone else offended.

I tried to order on Monday and the dealer could not fig. out how to do it. The program would not let them put in anything after I picked what model I wanted. They also had no info about the car at all, so I pulled it up on the computer to show them. Then the owner said even if you order your car you still my not get what you want because you do not know what colors GM is going to start with or what opt. are going to be put in first. He said they may only be doing red and black cars that week or that they may only have 2 colors for the inside and they would just call me and say this is whats avail. what do you want to do.

That's not how ordering works, the salesman you were talking to seems confused to say the least. The Camaro you order may not come out first and it may take time for you to get the car you ordered, but you will NOT be shipped what you didn't order that would defeat the purpose of sold orders. On a side note did you demand to talk to the sales manager, don't settle for some kid just hired three months earlier who may not know his ____ from a hole in the ground.

As far as no control over markup, they have every bit control over markup and there are plenty of dealers out there offering MSRP or less and are putting it in writing.

Ok now I have 2 questions for you about your order,

1) What is carpeted front?
2) Are you planning on getting the engine cover in a color other then your cars exterior color? If not then you don't need that option as the engine cover already comes painted the same color as the cars exterior.
Don't be starting rumors. Please research before making false statements. In my case, yes the engine cover will be the same as body color because I am getting Black. Otherwise it will cost $285 to match the exterior color. Too much if you ask me anyway.

Carpeted front is an option for carpeted front floor mats, which are included in 2SS at no added charge

After revamping the excel sheet provided by themadhatter99, and my options are:

2SS/RS (WRS)
W1H
VYP
Inferno Orange Metallic

And adding 3% of VA sales tax, and the dealer fees of $299, my total MSRP came out to: $37,008

The only thing I have not included is tags and title costs. Which surely wouldn't raise that price to 40k.

The final price he gave me yesterday was: $40,000.62

I guess I need to "offer" him the price above. That sound reasonable to you all?

Am I missing anything? Was the destination charge added in to these calculations?

I want to make him an offer on a price, obviously the MSRP, and don't want to be missing anything vital.

Let me know
