They will likely be done in batches. Now, will it be 5 minutes? 30? an hour? a shift? a week? I don't know.

calling 80Zedder . . .

I highly doubt they will produce ONLY SS's for whatever period of the folks attribute to that article.
Higher MSRP means more initial profit.
The 'faithful" will probably be ordering the SS exclusively. Why not reward them by building their cars first?

Makes sense when you think about it, doesn't it?

SS and V6 will be available together, at the same time...

Absolutely!!! If we take a look at the poll... the SS accounts for well over 80% on this site. Factor in that the "general public" had very little knowledge of the 13th ordering date (assuming "general public" would account for more V6 models), I think GM will look at the initial orders and see that the SS is the most ordered and go from there.

Could I be wrong? Most likely

It's a flex line guys - you might eventually see a Suburban come off the same line at the same time, nevermind SS, LS, LT....

I'm betting the first off the line will be black or silver. Mines black, run them early. I hate waiting. I'm from (near) Portland also.

I bet they build the orders they have received so far...which are mostly SS models. These are guaranteed sold orders which GM knows are sold to enthusiasts who will promote and advertise the hell out of. GM wants the SS's out the door first. It makes sense. But, they will probably do them same time.

When vettes are built (and we were just in Bowling Green to see), they build all 4 models on the line at THE SAME TIME. We had a ZR1, Z06, Vert, and Coupe all in front of us at the same time. Don't worry bout which will be produced first.

They will build SOLD ORDERS first!
