You know the thing that caught my attention Mindz is that the video almost seemed "staged." The camera operator was waiting for that truck so that makes this video even more horrifying to me. What a serious tragedy and all in the name of "fun." :(

Holy cow, that's awful. I see people riding in the beds of trucks all the time in Baja. There's a reason it's illegal here.

uh...

DUH....

Granted, the people are in the bed of the truck, but people fly out of cars and the cabs of trucks like this every single day due to the simple force generated as the truck tumbles over and over.

DON'T BE A MORON. WEAR A SEATBELT AND DO NOT RIDE IN THE BACK OF TRUCKS!!!!"

I'll be you a million bucks a couple of those folks died...
According to the article, only one died, but it's amazing it was only one.

A few years ago, my State Trooper freind basicaly forced me to look at some fatality pics he had taken in his bid to get me to start wearing mine.

It worked.

Even though I understand the force generated in a collision, I guess I had to see it to get it to sink in.

It was definitely staged, as to why?

Damn, a pretty stupid thing to do

Now you got to see pix. We get to see the real thing. The hardest part is walking up to it...taking it all in. Once you see, it's just normal. But, we get ... desensitized to it over time. I've seen so many dead bodies...ugh...

IMO, this was not staged.

we all know that too much weight in the rear end causes the rear end to sway. If you don't, you've never loaded enough sod into the back of the truck and driven it home fast enough to get that "oh shit" feeling as teh back end started swaying back and forth. You have (not meaning you, but in general), I'm sure, have seen other videos where vehicles weighted down in the back start to sway back and forth the faster they go.

This just happened to be the case. Staged? I don't see how it could be. "Hey. Let's load up the back of the truck with unsuspecting people, go too fast, and roll the truck nearly killing ourselves." I don't see it being staged.
