Yep. Painted Rally Stripes in a bright contrasting color is the only way to go!

If you do stripes, paint them!

I'm going with hood spears on my car.

my son got a 2lt rs black no stripes cause that's what i do. i liked the car without them....black is just badass. he wanted some red stripes so i highlighted the cowl part of the hood with 1/8" red and ran a 1/4" red stripe around the front to the back of both doors..........looked great. after a couple of days he wanted more...lol so i took the 1/4" stripe off and made a set that's simular to the javelin stripe that you see on eBay and added a red stripe from the front fender to the rear quarter at the bottom of the door where it goes from 1/8" on the fender to 2" at the rear of the door and then back to 1/8" at the end of the quarter. have gotten a lot of very positive comments on it................however he now wants the rallys on the hood and deck lid so i'm gonna do that tomorrow or monday, i'm just worried that it will be to much red.......but i guess we'll see. i haven't taken any pic's yet but as soon as i do i'll post them. now he wants the rims painted black.......i think that will really make it look good..........kinda wish the car was mine.....lol

The difference between racing stripes and rally stripes is that the racing stripes go back onto the bumper and fenders were as rally stripes just stay on the roof, trunk and hood of the car.

Stripes really set the car in my opinion, whether they be hockey stripes or rally. They seem to work better since the Camaro's lines are so angular.

The muscle car category can run stripes - other type cars look ridiculous with stripes...Camaros do not..but I like minimum stripes:
