Great story. I found myself thinking about my kid when she's on the road ahead of me setting a good example. Because if she sees me doing she will think it's o.k. for her and she drives a little sport car.

Nice Work! Racing is for the strip not the street. You must have a local track close by that you could attend for street leagals and put away a few stangs. The Safe Way!

You ROCK! That was a very wise decision! This happens to me often,,I just smile, and let them pass. I don't have to prove a thing....I'm sure it's going to get even worse when the 2011 Mustangs start hitting the road...

Great story and great example. I have had a tough time restraining myself on a few occasions as well. I have also found myself going too fast on the highway with my wife and daughter in the car. Thanks for the reminder on how to be a real man!

Thankfully for me, the only time anyone ever really tries to get me to race is when I have my boys with me. If they weren't with me it would be REALLY hard not to show em what real power is, and knowing my luck that would be the same time that the local police were right around and I would be handing the officer my lisence.

When he missed 2nd gear and you passed him, you should have rolled down the window and looked over and said "See I didn't need to race you, you can't even drive properly"
