I just got off the phone with them.

they will give me the $77 a year deal (no code), but only if I roll into a normal rate plan at the end of the first year.

did anyone else agree to the roll over thing?

Nope. They never asked me to roll over to a normal plan rate. When I got the $77 a yr. deal, I asked if I could have that rate for 2 yrs. They said no, but just call again when it's ready to run out and they'll renew for the promo price again, one year at a time.

I called back using a different number than was posted here. same thing, for the $77/1 year promotional price you have to agree to roll over to 1,2,3 year plan at normal price.

and there is a $2 fee for being invoiced

They offered me the 20 for 5 mos but I just couldn't see even spending the 20......radio and iphone work great.

I called about the $77 deal and they said it was only for returning customers. I was a Sirius subscriber for years but I guess even after the merger it doesn't count. I am cancelling my XM trial if they don't give me a better offer. I use my iPod/iPhone for music in the car anyway so it's not really a problem.

I got the $77 deal yesterday also. They quoted me full price and I told them I would like a better deal. She said that was the only plan. I told her I was on a camaro forum and everyone on there was getting that deal. She told me to hold on, and came back and said she still has that deal and gave it to me.. I was told it would renew at full price next year. I also asked for an invoice. They will not get my cc.
