Mine is an L99. I dyno'd it bone stock (no mods whatsoever), after driving 40 minutes in 85 degree heat. Accidentally left the A/C on during the dyno run and still registered a 318.75 rwhp with 322.23 lb-ft of torque. Since the L99 is rated to 400 HP at the crank, my math says 20% loss = 320 hp. Pretty close! Darned A/C!

The L99 makes more low end power, and has a gearing advantage to neutralize the power and weight advantage of the LS3 cars.

It's amazing the variance between dynos.
Even more amazing is that some people think their stock engine makes measurably more or less HP than Chevy says it does. Nothing gets under my skin more than "after mod" dyno #'s without "before mod" baseline #'s from the same dyno. What a waste.

Or ... is your car an LS3 or an L99? Because 320 rwhp is in line with what people tend to get out of their L99s

That is my stock baseline, L99. I'm 125' above sea level and it was a miserable rainy day in February. It is a tool, so as long as you keep going to the same one you can measure the effects of your mods. Example is that I lost 6 hp with my heavy wheels. I gained back that +4 with the K&N intake without a tune, at that point. These are small numbers and some of that could be attributed to the day. So even as a tool it isn't perfect. They are not designed to "arm chair" Race on the internet.
