About a week ago, I ordered a 2011 for invoice + $292 and with USAA discount of $750 I will end up paying about $350 less than invoice around mid July when I pick it up.

Needless to say, you will be able to get a better deal for a 2010 model sitting on the lot.

I would definitely look on ebay and auto trader. You would be surprised how many 2010s with low miles there are. I wanted the same car as you except with a M6 tranny. I got one from an ebay seller that I paid 500 that went toward the price of the car to take off of ebay so I could see it before purchasing. It is loaded with all the options you mentioned with only 780 miles when I bought it and I only paid 32,800. Im also close to your age at 24. The car was in Pristine condition. It had never been driven in rain and sat in a covered warehouse and actually the owners office on hardwood floors previous to my purchase. Also, for the financing I would check with a credit union if u are a part of one, my wife was. I got 3.75% and theyre around 6.5 here. Also if you arent part of a c union then State Farm Insurance offers it in the 4s. Good luck man. You will love the car. I know I love mine

The 32,800 was before tax, title, and license plate. Still a major deal, although. The window sticker on my car, which was in the glove box, was 36,795 new! Thank you dear baby Jesus. Lol

I would wait for four to six months or so to make sure this job is solid and you are happy with it. Just my opinion from someone who is twice your age.

sadly enuf, I agree!

Arg! I was waiting for someone to say that. I have thought this through as well.

I really do need a new vehicle though. And I have quite a bit of money saved...

I was in the same situation this week. I just started a new job that made it possible for me to afford a Camaro... although a v6. I went to the dealer on Tuesday this past week to buy a black 1lt and came back to buy on Thursday and it had been sold the Wednesday in between. I was really disappointed but now I have decided to wait and buy a 2lt 2010 or 2011. By the way I am driving a car much worse than your truck...1992 jeep cherokee worth about 600 bucks!

If I were you I would not be too worried there are a lot out there. Ironically there is not another black 1lt like the one I wanted anywhere within 200 miles of me.

Well a little update.

Went back to the dealer today and they offered 8500 for my truck. Thats more than i thought they would offer. But all they would take off the Camaro was 550....

so it came out to 38000 even....

I said, that people are able to get this at invoice. and i dont want to pay over invoice. They didnt show me their invoice sheet. But i have a feeling they will call me back with a lower price sometime this week. We will see.
