Yup black out is old and overused, plus why black out a feature of a car so then it doesn't show anything properly.

It's the RS not the SS that has the darker lenses.

I say yes. Black them out. It looks GREAT on white and the fact that you have black stripes, I'm surprised that it's up for debate.

If I had a Summit White Camaro I'd black out the rear the front and put black full stripes on it. it looks awesome!!!

BTW you do mean the RS model not the SS right? Because the SS model lights are no darker than the LT or LS models, it's the RS package that tints the tails a little darker.

in the picture i took to compare my lt to the 2ss the tailights looked darker then mine for some reason
