I was driving around Oshkosh yesterday and stopped just about everyone in there tracks. They would just stare and not say anything. This was the first time I noticed anything like that .

Its these same kids that are going to want a fifth gen...just like they remembered as a kid, when they are in their 30s. This is motivation enough for me to keep my 5th Gen as pristine as can be for the next 30 years.

And the biggest victory for GM with these kids.....is that with the 5th Gen, they guaranteed that the Camaro brand will be successful far into the future.

just my 2 cents.
Well, I'm sorry, in my experiences, this car IS a chick magnet. I have to fight them off with a bat wrapped in barbwire, especially when I goto Hooters! lol. But seriously, I'm also in LOVE with this car and I too think that years into the future this car will definitely be a classic. There simply isn't any other car oh the road with a design like it has. GM went in a great direction by adding a more futuristic design to they're new cars. I mean have you seen the new Corvette, also know as "sideswipe" in Transformers?

THAT car is gorgeous. 30 years into the future, if we're even driving cars then, the Camaro will definitely be a car that should be encased within a glass box for historical value.

Today, I went to the movies with my girlfriend and we park and walk away from the car. the guy (approx in his 50's)parked oppositte me beeps the horn and we turn around and he gives me the thumbs up and she says to me, "thats why you bought that car,for the attention" I said "nope, thats just one of the perks" and I said to myself,"she just doesnt get it"

Then we come out of the movies, she says im driving home. she gets in the drivers seat and proceeded to beat that thing harder than I have in the 2 weeks ive had it. she was like a woman possessed when she got in that seat, yanking on the shifter hammering the gas. then I said to myself "now she gets it"

I was filling up in a gas station in tiny Mt. Vernon, Ohio when a woman approached me. She said, "is it OK if my son LOOKS at your car?" As if someone needs permission!

She said, "he won't touch it..."

I said, "no it's not OK if your son looks at the car -- he HAS to touch it and get in the driver's seat to FEEL the car!"

He was maybe 10 or 12 years old. It was as if he had just met a movie star.

His brother took pictures with his cell phone.

This is by far my favorite moment of owning this car -- I made the kid's day, maybe his year.

I'm thinking of keeping this car another 13 years until my son turns 16.

Mine is a chick magnet, but the kids really seem to get a kick out of my Transformers badge.

I think your right. I was out walking my dogs the other night and there was 4 boys about 10-12 years old on bikes and skate boards as I walked by. I was asked, "Mr, do you own the silver Camaro?" I said, yes, that is my car. This little kid walks up and said to me, this is no joke. "I want to get a good job, so I can buy that car. I wanna be a transformer." Hahaha. I just looked back at him and said, "Son, you listen to your parents and teachers, and you can have anything you want."

What is funny about this is that I have had a lot of little boys stare at my car or comment on it. I also have a 1969 camaro that has A LOT of money in it, and not a peep from them. But when, I was 10 years old and saw a nice 69' Camaro go by, I thought, I wanna make a lot of money and buy that car!

Kinda nice.

My son actually got to take his driver's test in my Camaro, and was stoked!! His friends all love the car, and when him and his best friend take it out, lol. Dairy Queen is the hit of this little town!

So, yeah, I agree. That's what is going to make this car a classic. from 6 to 106, this car can indeed invoke some strong feelings!

I still remember what it was like when I was little! That's why I fell in love with all those old muscle cars...and why I still love 'em today!
