I prefer cloth. It gets pretty warm around here in the summer and cloth is just more comfortable.

I'm not a girl, but the leather looks so much better, and it's so easy to clean. No girl that's ever gotten in my car commented on the leather; it's just been "Nice car."

I definitely prefer cloth since I live in Miami, however leather is nicer up north during the winter if you can auto-start the car with the heater on and let it sit and that's about it. One of my friends has the leather seats camaro and he feels mine are more comfortable when I give him a ride. It's more cushiony than the leather and that's the main reason.

My current wife and the women I've known "well" previously seem to like the feel of leather.

I drove a car with black vinyl seats for many years. Yes, they get hot. But nothing a nice beach towel cannot overcome. I never let the black vinyl see the sun. You can do the same with Leather. Just toss a huge beach towel over each seat.

I'm 23... and I love the leather in our car. I told my husband initially that I wasn't happy about it, but once the car was here I LOVED it. My parents used to have an infiniti with leather, and I hated that leather. It got too hot, it got too cold. The camaro with the heated seats take care of the cold problem, and our windows are tinted pretty dark and we park so the seats aren't directly in the sun if we can help it. I have been sticking to the seats a bit the last week or so, but I'd rather stick to the seat a bit in the summer time then have cloth seats... Just my preference...

with 2 kids (5 & 3yrs old), the leather is alot easier to keep clean, at least it was in my last cars. I like the feel, the look, and the maintenance side of things. If you keep it clean and well oiled, the leather used in modern cars can last a LONG time (the leather in my last car looked brand new when I traded it in after owning it for 5 years).

Never really had issues with the hot/cold side of things because my shorts are long enough to protect my legs in the summer plus I have tinted windows, and everyone is wearing pants in the winter.

I love the leather in my car and so does my girlfriend. When I upgraded from a 2LT to a 2SS the first question she asked was, "Will the new one have heated seats?"

My interior is gray and the temps have been pushing 100 for the last couple weeks and have no problems with it being too hot.

I love my leather. Especially in the 2010 Camaro, the leather interior makes it look soooo classy!!!
My family always had cloth interiors, including my first few cars, and they always felt like cheap econo-box seating. So when purchasing my first new car, one of my requirements was that it MUST have a leather interior! And i LOVE IT!! Dont think i'll ever go back to cloth. And as many other posters have said, the heated seats are AMAZING!! Really saves your ass in the winter..... and the girls seem to love it.

At the end of the day, its all about what you want. If you want leather... get leather. Good tints will reduce the heat in the summer, and the A/C makes sure they are not hot for too long anyways. Trust me.... you'll love it!
