I'm also looking at the Cherry Bomb catback.
Still undecided .

You'd be surprised that most of the more popular exhaust systems on the market are produced over seas.

You will not get your car to sound like a Flowmastered big block. No chance, not even with big cubes and a cam. These are fuel injected engines.

2nd, the Flowmaster cat-back along with any other aftermarket cat-back all have the mufflers in the wrong place, (behind the rear) which is why you get the exotic, high pitched tone (like a Ferrari and such). They need to be relocated to the middle of the car so that the exhaust can resonate through the tailpipe (not a tip). There is only one company that produces a mid-muffler kit and that is Pypes. Deep tone, no rasp and NO DRONE at any RPM and engine load.

Check em out, you'll be surprised at the quality and they got the sound you're looking for.

The Borlas I've heard almost mimic a Ferrari/Lamborghini stock system , that's what I meant by foreign sound . I want 60's muscle car deep like my Flowmastered Big Block .
The baffle is getting really bad now , so I'll need to do something quickly . I'm cammed with headers and cats and I know that brings the volume up .

You forgot Magnaflow and Solo Performance for mid mufflers also.

Flowmaster for me. Nice deep sound and half the price of others.

4xchamp -

Thank you for considering the Flowmaster mufflers for your Camaro, and thank you to everyone who recommends our systems. We agree with many of the posts in the thread, Flowmaster and muscle cars just go together and we have many excellent options for your modern muscle car.

We have everything from a full cat back American Thunder system to the more mellow axle-back Hushpower to simple muffler replacements. You can see the (and hear) the install and dyno run of our American Thunder series in this video from Power TV.

Flowmaster always resembled loudness to me, didn't know it had a nice deep sound as well. Since they're cheap I've doubted on the durability especially after I saw someone dumping it at the junkyard but I just read in one of the forums that someone's using it for 12 years now and no rust till now. Did I have some misconceptions about flowmaster?
