I've got the car all tricked out but left the oem exhaust because I saw no benefit in changing , however a baffle in one of the mufflers is going away so time to scrap it .
I've looked at Pypes because it is priced so competitively but am leaning toward the Flowmaster because I've got it on my other cars and am very pleased .
What I don't want is a foreign car sounding system like a few I've heard .
Does any one have the Flowmaster on their Camaro ? How do you like it ?

I have heard the flowmaster and it sounds good. Just dont by the chinese made Pypes system no matter how nice the price looks.

Borla is the way to go if you want the best quality. Look at their axle backs, since you are looking for lower prices.

I have Flowmasters on mine and I love them. Now very loud at all, untill you get on it and then they come alive. Best sounding exhaust IMO for the V6

just cut the mufflers off. If you don't like it, you only wasted $75.

Flowmaster is great on trucks but not the best for Camaro's IMO. Borsa and Corsa are tops for this car and it is just a matter of taste on the sound you want. I have Borsa S-Type and think it is perfect. ATAK is OK too but with headers it gets a bit loud. Corsa is nice too, I just did not choose it in the end.

Funny thing, alot more people are running Flowmasters on this car than any other brand. Its the best bang for your buck out there IMO. I listened to probably ever exhaust out there before settling on Flowmasters. It was about the only one that didn't sound like a rice burner or had lots of drone. Its the closest sound you can get to a mean V8.

I loved the flowmaster.. if you want a great tone. go flowmaster but if you have longtubes be ready for a serious volume increase.

Price is not an issue , sound is and I will not buy Chinese junk .
The Borlas I've heard almost mimic a Ferrari/Lamborghini stock system , that's what I meant by foreign sound . I want 60's muscle car deep like my Flowmastered Big Block .
The baffle is getting really bad now , so I'll need to do something quickly . I'm cammed with headers and cats and I know that brings the volume up .

Can't beat Pypes for their pricing and it is a very agressive sound.

Just installed my catback exhaust of the FMs over the weekend and let me tell you this..the videos on youtube don't do it justice for the overall sound of them!

I had the car over at a dyno event this weekend and lots of people couldnt believe they were actually FMs considering how agressive they sounded, esp when I was revving.. I do admit there is a little bit of drone around 2k but it doesnt really bother me too much considering I like knowing if I can hear it inside, someone else on the outside knows Im coming by!

Price wise it is a steal and I got mine off amazon for $617.51..but that was for mine with the gfx kit.
