I find that hard to believe......maybe happens on a rare occasion, but not as a general rule......"Most of the time??????"

TOTALLY INCORRECT. Battery disconnect is wrong and fuse pull is the correct procedure. Battery disconnect does nothing unless you leave the battery disconnect for almost 1 day. There is a battery backup for the ECU that has to drain. That is why the fuse pull.

What he actually meant, and probably said, was. You do not get a WHOLE tank of Super. Newer gas stations do not have the separate underground lines that the older stations have. They use a common line from the pump manifold to the storage tank manifold... So if the volume of that common line is 2 gallons and the pump previously filled someones tank with regular than your first 2 gals will be regular.

Here's what "fuse pull" means to Corvette owners.

The "fuse pull" only works in conjunction with the "search feature".

Yes you should. The ECM does not run the BCM which is what cleared from the battery pull and it has no backup. That is why you had to reset all that stuff.

I was wondering what the heck everyone was talking about. I'd also hear about it but never had anyone give actual numbers when brought up..
