Hearings not looking good for GM.

If you have been watching the hearings it is not looking good for GM at all. The Union Leader said GM was the the worse run and in the worse shape. Also today auto industy anaylist said it would take 30 billion just for GM to make it thru 2010.

Does not look good.

Latest Update: the honorable CamaroPete of VA offered to put up $37,000 to help GM make his 2010 Camaro. Let's hope it helps.

I think I need to run for a seat in congress. I have been truley dissapointed by the represention today. Not just on the Issue of GM, but in general. The uninformed people making descisions on my behalf. It scares me as an American.

Some of these guys are so full of it. They love to hear themselves talk. I swear they would like themselves like a cat if they thought it would make them look better on TV.

You know...one of the arrogant sobs asked the CEOs who flew on a corporate jet, and who planned on selling their jets, or something like that...like politicians don't get fancy jets, etc...

Why didn't one of the execs get up and ask the senators what each of them drove? I'll bet 50%+ haven't owned an American car within the last ten years.

now i'm not saying i like toyota, but you can't bash them all the time and then all of a sudden point at them as a reference for how GM should handle its business. that doesn't exactly go hand in hand in my opinion.

Good point Dragon....The thing that bother me the most is that the members of congress should look out for the interest of the American people. I know this pertains more to the representitive side of things, but how do they come to these conclusions? Was anyone here asked where they wanted the 700 billion to go? I sure as hell wasnt. So many intricate parts of this country are failing right now, failing to serve the common under 50K per year blue collar good old boy that this country was founded on. Maybe I am just ranting, but this goes deeper than me wanting my Camaro. If I dont get my car fine. I want to look out for the interest of the country I have defended for the last 6 years and will continue to defend for at least the next 14. I am only 26 years old so I do have limited knowledge on the economic subject, but this seems so clear cut that there isnt even a need for a debate. Mods I am not trying to get political here, but people that have cried, sweated, and bleed for this country are truly upset here. I am sure everyone is. I never thought it would come down to somthing like this. May God help us out of this.
