Pulling straight out did not work, may have been to cold for the plastic to want to give. And I may have have print out of an older version of the instructions.

And don't get me wrong the Instructions are great, I would not have attempted this if I had not seen how straight forward the instructions were. And if this would have pulled out would not have warranted inclusion in the instructions.

I couldn't pull it out either. I just cut it and slipped the wire bundle back in. I agree it was a little frustrating. Not as bad as getting those rear bolts out though. Very happy with the ice-olator!

I pulled mine out, but had to use a screwdriver to get leverage on it and pry it out. Came right out.

ugh, these forums are like crack to me. I had no idea that this thing even existed when i woke up this morning. Now i'm about ready to buy one of everything.

Would it be worth getting a ported TB with this???

Any package deals if i got the insulator and ported TB???

I guess i need a catch can too haha

Also, would i need to purchase some kind of sealer or gooey type stuff to seal the insulator properly?? Or does it come with it?

Can't advise on any sealant as Mike Norris of Norrismotorsport did the testing with my car having the Vararam, thus he installed it. I know some talk on the board may reveal whether or not some sort of sealant is needed but Mike also had package deals on the VMax throttle body and the Black ICE-olater. He also has catch cans too and so does Tracy so you can go either way to get what you need.

While installing the insulator i noticed the intake valves had a buid up of carbon my car has 18000 and i have a catch can. looked like alot for such little miles. I probed it and it was very soft. Just putting it out there. My engine does not use any oil always filled untill oil change.

That's how they were installing them on the spot Saturday....I think that's the ticket.

Crack...lol I guess you could call it that. Getting the TB would definitely help in unison with the ICEolator. Not required, but it would be a more proportional gain.

I'd be glad to offer a package deal to those looking for them. Just PM us what you'd like.

One of the guys drove home from the Sunshine State Rally said he really liked the throttle response but that was about it. I haven't heard much else from others about their in cabin review.

Guessing normal - especially if it was light ash grey and dry looking. You might try seafoam...

I've noticed ZERO added noise in the cabin.
