23 yr. old. 2SS/RS Manual

I always told myself if I owned a car, it would be a standard. My trucks automatic. My car is to have fun in, and manuals are funner, as long as your not doing a lot of stop and go driving.

i am 18 and going to order the automatic.
i know how to drive one, and would love a manual, but with the traffic here in so cal, that would just suck.
plus, i love the tapshift.
best of both worlds ish. lol

31 years old 2SS auto. Main reason I went with auto was I didnt order this car someone else had ordered and backed out cause of financial reasons. So I had to take what they had unless I wanted to order and then have to wait like everyone else has. Im glad I didnt have to wait like so many people have! I was lucky enough to get mine the day I saw it! And only thing I wish I would have ordered was I wish it had RS package but other than that this car is awesome and have met more people in month I owned the car than I have in previous 2 Years!!!

25, LS3 (Manual). I know how to drive a stick, but this will be the first stick shift I've owned. My incentive is that I wanted it. Easy as that.

The wife doesn't know how to drive stick, but maybe she will one day.

I figured a 21st Century Sports Car should have the newest technology. Auto with tapshift 2ss/rs

Great story, enjoy the summer with your car. If you got a Camaro, you got the real deal.

56 yr old male - 2SS manual. (Probably should have done a poll here!) My '69 Z/28s only came w/ manual transmissions, so I didn't even consider anything else.

Plus... being my daily driver, I cant work my iPhone, eat, smoke, or play with my girlfriend next to me if I'm too busy working the stick and the clutch, now can i ??

I know manuals have more performance potential... but all i ask for is
That is the reason also, this engine has the latest technology, and being in the NYC area with a lot of traffic and a lot of hills in the suburb it makes sense to go with an Auto around here.

Plus, Sports mode is fun. You get some great performance when you are driving and then shift to Sports mode. The car kicks into another gear and you are on your way. The paddle shifters are fun. I am also a music buff and my hand is always changing the songs on my ipod interface, so the manual would be more annoying for me.

Manual - 49 - female

All manuals since 1985, except for 2002 TA WS6, got in a hurry and took what was right there in from of me, had to have those hood scoops, and it was the last year they were made. Thought I would have that car for awhile, but had major rotor problems so it got traded...
