Since I'm the one that originally asked you the question I completely agree with your use of the term "lazy." In my case (not the individual who responded to your post) I am dealing with the Fleet Manager at my dealership, who obviously considers this a career and is a professional. But he explained to me that his efforts to track a car in the past have always ended up in him getting inaccurate information, so he doesn't really try it anymore.

On the other hand, you have been unbelievably responsive and helpful. We're all in the same boat...anxious to get our new "babies." But I was hoping for a little more information because I have someone who wants to buy my current car and is a little put off by the lack of information I can give him regarding when my new car will arrive.

I would call my dealer again and ask if he could provide me with a rail car number (or anything) that would help me track the car on its way to the dealership, but I already know his answer would be "no."

So again, I just want to thank you for the service and the information you provide, all with a positive attitude, and let you know how much you're appreciated!!!

Thanks JB, I wish I could get everyone the answers they are looking for, but there's only so much info I get at this point. In the future, I'm supposed to be able to get the shipping status', so that might be helpful. If you could convince him to get the railcar info, there is a # you can call to trace it. Let him know he won't be responsible and it may keep you from pestering him

Hello Becky, My Dealer said that he had a dealer allocation last week and was submitting my order for production. I still don't see any status change..........can you pleeeeaaaase give me some good news on this #........... PNSMXS
