It won't be that long before it's mostly all engineers. The software defined vehicle and UAW thuggery has forced automakers to focus on software development and automation more than ever before.

You are not wrong. Doing a LOT of work for clients in the SDV space these days. Ironically, having both the Tesla app and the MyChevrolet app on the same phone painfully points out how much legacy automakers have to learn to be even close to competitive with SDV. The MyChevrolet app S-U-C-K-S!!!

Chevy Blazer EV SS Has More Power Than Originally Announced Story by Craig Cole • 21h • 2 min read Whether it’s the estimated wait time at your doctor’s office, the amount of potato chips in a bag, or how much the cost of homeowner’s insurance is going up, it’s always better to under-promise and over-deliver rather than do the opposite and angering everyone. Giving drivers a pleasant surprise, Chevrolet recently missed the mark with one of its new vehicles. More For Your Money When it was announced a couple of years back, the high-performance Chevy Blazer EV SS was expected to crank out 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque, heady numbers to be sure. These estimated figures were revised last year to 595 and 645, respectively, but as Chevy gets ready to launch this supercar-slaying SUV, engineers uncovered a little bit more oomph. Like finding a long-forgotten $20 bill in your coat pocket, the Blazer EV SS’s latest output numbers should be 615 horses and 650 pound-feet of immediate torque. That’s 58 additional ponies than initially promised by the engineering department, an increase of roughly 10 percent. Talk about under-promising and over-delivering. WOW! Wide Open Watts The Balzer EV SS is set to pace the Daytona 500 on February 16, the 67th running of this legendary race. Chevrolet trumpets this all-electric SUV as the quickest SS model it has ever offered, yes, faster on its feet than some legendary muscle cars from the 1960s. With the cutely named Wide Open Watts maximum performance mode engaged, this family-hauler is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.4 seconds, a borderline-insane performance. Helping drives control all that power, of course, the Blazer EV SS also has a sport-tuned chassis and front Brembo brakes – though, apparently, the rear axle isn’t worthy of fancy binders. This vehicle will also come standard with GM’s segment-leading Super Cruise hands-free driving aid, which works on limited-access divided highways. Owners are also treated to an expansive 17.7-inch touchscreen. Expect the Blazer EV SS to offer an EPA-estimated 303 miles of range on a full charge. The 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV should start around $50,000 including $1,395 in destination fees but before any potential discounts. If you need a little more performance in your life, and the SS model tickles your proverbial fancy, plan on spending a bit more. This high-performance EV is expected to start around $62,000 with destination fees, so budget accordingly. Look for the Blazer EV SS at Chevrolet stores later this quarter. |

So blazer ev is on par with model y. Good on them.
HEMI V8 may find its way back into vehicles. Lucid ceo says 180 mile range is the sweet spot, but will not abandon long range ev Charger daytona EV launch is a mess.

Has anyone here been to 4-wide in Charlotte? without an artificial stadium/seats you will never get the same effect - you just cannot mimic it!, no matter how fast they get to the end. But, alas, it has all become digital so, why go to the race when you can just watch it virtual and go - yeah, silent ultra-mega-fast car won.
