Once Body shop is done, I need to install the the LPE twin disc, mount the separate clutch reservoir, and visit Rob at Expert tire for the rest of the Pedders Suspension parts install, and final alignment.

Tires and wheels are all set. Just need to bolt them on and redo the TPMS sensors.

Then it's time to pull my race team together to finish it up, change all the fluids, and check over everything..

There are 38 cars in the class I am running.. should be some good competition! All the cars in my class are either supercharged or turbo's.

I got a chance to ride in a ZO6 around a 2.2 mile road course today and my god what a beast of a car. The guy I was riding with had stock tires on (that were almost bald) but knew how to drive. We passed GTR's, Porsche 911 GT3 RS with DOT tires and everything else. Going 145mph on the straight to 60mph in the first corner for the first time was crazy---it was amazing!! I can't wait to get back and take my car out to the track and start learning the car and the track. I am sure the Pedder's suspension stuff will make it a lot more fun also

Speed, sounds like fun! Yes, That's the best way to start on a road coarse.. Riding with a seasoned veteran to learn. Followed by having an instructor ride with you at time trial events and give you guidance.

When is your car done at LPE? should be soon, I imagine. Yes, the more your suspension gets transformed by PEDDERS the better it will perform!

What you are adding this go around at LPE will improve the car a lot - shifter, suspension bits, and clutch. It will feel like a different car.

My car was this last Wednesday and I have been trying to not find more things to add to it. I have to try and think about other things so I don't get more ideas.....it doesn't help reading the LPE brothers and sisters posts though

Blue, I'm loving the picture of everyone admiring your ride.

Gotta hand it to LPE.. they really do make works of art.

What are you having done at the body shop?

I am looking forward to the car coming home so I can work on it..
It will be gone 6 weeks by the time I get it back.

Happy Birthday!! Nothing like an LPE Camaro coming home for your 50th. Car looks great!! Looks like you had a good get together there and had some fun. Mtcwby's car looks pretty good too - like the stripes. Have a good easter birthday and you will have to let a few black snakes loose in honor of the day

WOW, 570, Blue, Paul your cars look great! I love all the pictures and the video. Speed, it's good to hear you should have your car soon. BWS congrats on choosing LPE. They really do make a great product!

Yesterday we went to the Albuquerque Dragway for a little 1/4 mile FUN. It was a beautiful day. The DA was 7160, we both made several passes, and both our cars held up great. They are so close to eachother in speed. We definitely have a lot of room to improve our times. I don't think either one of us had a truly clean run. We both kept hitting the rev limiter in different gears. We had two head to head matchups. RS won one, I won the other.
But RS did post the better time of the day where he smoked a mustang. He ran a 12.78, and my best was a 12.97 We definitely need more practice and are welcome to any tips you might give for improving our 60 ft times.:
