Huh? For some reason we were talking about Camaro sales numbers. You implied they aren't selling that well. Now you bring up the financing rate?

I implied that they weren't "selling like hotcakes."
This goes back to the last thread, where I was advising the OP to wait until early next summer, because I said there will be 0% financing by then. Then, a certain other member jumped in and refuted this because camaros are selling like hotcakes, and there would be no need to offer incentives on the camaro. I disagree, and I think there will be incentives, such as 0% financing by May or June. It will be the model year end, this happens to every car, and the camaro is no exception.

So what? They're selling at a rate in excess of 6000 per month NOW and have been doing so for MONTHS, without 0% financing.

The whole point was potential, not what it is presently putting down.

You seem to be making the point of "Oh yeah, wait until the sales die down and then see how you feel." Every car will slow down in sales eventually, but the car will still be every bit of the performer rather or not it sales 10,000 units 54958498459485 million years from now, or it gets axed next month.

And what do you mean it happens to every car? Why aren't the mustangs selling like hotcakes then?
If by selling like hotcakes, you mean beating the mustang, then sure, they are selling like hotcakes.
Look, this argument has been dragged on and beaten to death. All I said was that 0% financing would be offered on the camaro. That's what I mean by it's no different than any other cars.

What? Where in the world did I talk about performance. Go look at that thread, I was giving buying advice to a potential camaro buyer, not trying to bash the camaro in any way.

Return is right, you would have to be naive to think that there won't be incentives on the camaro or that the sales won't slow down. It's great that finally gm is selling a car well, and since the camaro is so nice, its a good thing that it is quickly becoming a common car. But just like mustangs (which are selling well right now too) there will be incentives in an attempt to increase sales. The older the car gets, the less "hotness" appeal it will have, like any new car getting older.

This is all I have been trying to say, and apparently some people think I am trying to bash the camaro.

That was just a phrase. You're basically giving "duh" statements lol. Like both of us have said, obviously the Camaro's sales will start dying down soon. This is unless GM doesn't stir up some interest again, like they plan on doing next MY with a convertible being released. Then when they start slipping again, I'm sure they'll release some higher end variant of the Camaro like the Z/28. Basically, don't expect sales to start slipping anytime soon.

Mustangs are selling like hotcakes too, just not to the extant that the camaros are.

They still are top sellers, the only car ahead of them (as a whole) would be the camaro, which as of today the best selling car in america.

Exactly. Which is fine, because both mustangs and camaros are bad ass rides.

As a side note, I love how we are saying the same thing, with different wording, in response to eachother's posts seconds apart. We got to catch up haha
