Sorry, if this was already asked (couldn't find clear information). Is it necessary to do sanding on 2SS dashboard covers ?? Or will it work without sanding ?

If you use the weather stripping method their is no need to sand.

As I said, these do have a feature for directing the light.

These things are great, got mine 3 months ago and love them. These folks can set you up with colors, but if you're going with blue you can pick the light portion of it from your local dealer.
