The only thing I DID NOT notice is a lack of MAF sensor in the charge tube.

haha thanks! The twins fit perfect in the engine bay (mid-mounted). And now I don't have to worry about an oil scavenge pump since it will drain under the influence of gravity.

I got my order in this week for the Overkill Tune,80mm throttle body, spacer and sent in my intake to be ported, it's all about the waiting now......

I think i would have to go with a nitrous fogger system for each cylinder in the plate that attaches to the bottom of the intake like previously pictured if i were to up the TB to the 80mm. Not sure i would take my current nitrous plate off and replace it with a single nozzle again. Been there done that.

Got an email this morning from a customer with an LFX equipped Impala. He made the switch from a VMAX throttle body to an Overkill 80mm throttle body. He has a K&N intake, JacFab spacer, underdrive pulley, Magnaflow cat-back, and a tune from Trifecta (but perhaps I can convince him to switch to Overkill). Max gain was 11 wheel horsepower at 5700rpm. Gains started at 4000rpm around 5-6 horsepower and climbed from there as rpms increased. This is just one dyno result, we'll need more upcoming results to create a trend of what you can realistically expect to gain, but obviously very happy to get this feedback. |
