No - the correct phrasing is if everyone had a CAMARO then there would be less multi-tasking in the car....

after all....who wants to waste time texting when you can be DRIVING...
(that and....who wants to destroy their car b/c they were busy adjusting their man-bra?? )

It's still my contention that 70% of the cars at the track ARE manuals. So of course they're gonna make up 70 % of the list.

I don't know about that. Think about it. I've seen people driving down the interstate with a full news paper spread out. I think there would be more accidents.

Oh, and I never said that a stock M6 SS 5th Gen would not beat a stock A6 all things being equal.

I will however say, after starting the moding, the A6 will DOMINATE that list.

Bah....the weight alone of the Tampon Dispenser you are required to own will slow down the Automatic at least .5 of a second. That means slapping on 3 stickers and getting the chip upgrade!

Except the ribbing in this one is totally tongue-in-cheek. Go look at the vids PQ made and the "response" vid to them. You'll laugh your ass off.

I know having that extra peddle and all that extra "work" to do with a manual transmission is probably more than your tiny "standard" brains can comprehend. Luckily, the people at MonkeySee have put together an instructional video series to help you overcome your fears and learn how to drive a manual. http://www.monkeysee.com/play/6260-h...ansmission-car. Lucky for you L99 drivers, they also have some training videos on: how to change a tire, how to change a windshield wiper, how to fill up with gas and many, many more.

I also want to point out that there are many reasons why you might want to drive an automatic, besides just your small brain capacity:

1. You are missing your left leg.
2. You are missing your right arm.
3. You lack any and all coordination to be able to do two things at once.
4. You need that free hand for "other" things while you're driving.
5. Your right hand is tired from your "date" last night.
6. You are used to "reduced output" as Wikipedia notes about the L99 engine.

Whatever the case may be, we just want you to know that we still love you just the same. We understand the extra care and patting on the back that you require.

Ya, like feeling up your wife in their passenger seat....

j/k

This one is meant to be much more fun. And so far has been. Just a good rivalry type thread to bash the other guy. That way at the end of the day, eveyone knows the A6 is better.

Well, equally driven the M6 should win. The stock list shows it. But keep in mind, that those are the best times for some pretty good drivers. If you line up 100 regular joes in M6s and 100 regular joes in A6s, I'd be willing to bet that the A6s would dominate even stock.
