Not sure what car you're looking at, but those callipers look like the 6 piston units from the CTS-V to me:

I really hope you're right.

^^^ This.

Just wish they would slot the rotors like on the V or cross drill (preferred). Granted they could on the final version and this is just the V brakes transplanted on a 2SS mule. However, in the interim I will keep pushing for either of those options.

Very good point! I had not seen the brakes on the CTS-V, and they do look very close. I was at a stop light next to a V6 earlier today, and noticed the ugly Silver Breaks and thought they looked familiar, but obviously I was wrong. I looked on the net to try and find a good photo of the V6 callipers, but couldn't find one.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the CTS-V breaks and setting me straight. Trust me, I cannot wait for the Z28. My wife get's the 2010 2SS, and I will take the new one!

Keep in mind...if they are the same between two cars...it keeps costs down compared to alternatives. We'll see exactly how much the CTS-V shares with the Camaro in time....I can't wait!

There you go. While there's no proof he has pictures, naysayers...there's none to prove he doesn't, so can it.

I think what you think.

The Z28 will likely have more than just a front fascia swap....imo, at least.

Well lets look at it this way..

They can isolate who was working that day, who was where when the Z/28 was in the bay..(or whatever)..and get someone to throw another under the bus.

Still wont help the company if GM see's that, knows where it was taken, and views the company and its employee's as untrustworthy. A bunch of stupid pixels on a screen are not worth several peoples jobs, or at worst, the loss of a contract and damage to a company.

Numerous people have been charged with theft and violations of intelectual property laws for pre-production pictures of the Camaro in testing, the Challenger and such. This is no different.
