z28mass: Join the club! I wish it had been clearer last fall when I was in a hurry to order. I might have looked for a bigger dealer.

I ordered 11/8, am #1 at the dealer and now suspect the dealer may not get an allocation to build a Camaro until late in the year. I guess the only thing that is certain is that mine will be built before the start of the 4th quarter 2009.

Your dealer is the only one who can give you any information on your order status.

My dealer just called me today. My 2010 Camaro 2LT was pulled to be built. He said he would know more about it on Wednesday. I'm assuming the VIN number.

I'm hoping to get the VIN on Wednesday so that I can look up the sticker. I'm absolutely excited. I'm #1 out of 20 at Maroone Chevrolet in West Palm Beach, Florida. My dealer was asking if he could pay me to leave my Camaro there so they would have something to show and sell off of. LOL! I told him as long as he got the fingerprints off and washed and waxed it then there are possibilities.

My poor dad though. While I got the 2LT/RS. He's now still waiting to hear about his 2SS/RS. I got a IBM with SIM stripes. My dad got RJT with SIM stripes.

I'll let you all know as soon as I find out more.

I was just told by my dealer that a representative from GM called the dealership today to obtain and verify 2 more orders numbers and mine was 1 of the 2 orders. The dealer said within a day or so my event code will change and I will have a more definitive time frame as to when my car will be at the dealership. Even though I wont be able to drive it for nearly 2 more months since I am currently on mission in Iraq, but it will be a great present from me to me for completing 2 years in this Hell Hole of a Country.
