BUT, to answer the question in the OP.

The Vette guys won't take you LS3 wannabes.

The L99 is a CAMARO engine. The LS3 is a CORVETTE engine.

So you guys just don't have a team.

Do you drive the engine?

Mine is an LS3 but I drive the whole car. Not just the engine.
