not for another month or so. right now I'm up in NC till thursday, then heading down to charleston to have a little beach bash with my in-laws at their beach house on IOP. then back home to start working a "real" job.

my main priority when I get home is to get Christine back on the road. that, and build a fence (the basset hound got loose yesterday... and I was 400 miles from home )

in NC? what part? man it's hot up here lately.

I'm wavering on the Z guys....I still want one (no matter what it is) but just too much BS going on right now. but yea eventually I'll get one. just don't know if it's as soon as I want. oh well we will see.

actually, my hotel is in Spring Lake. been up here for the last couple weeks. drove down with a local camaro club to Myrtle Beach on sunday.

leaving out of here thursday sometime to go back home.

Do you mean BS personally, or just in general with the car? I'm doubtful I can get it, assuming it comes in 2012, but I'll definately be getting one eventually

for me personally? more than $12.43 (cus thats all the money I physically have on me at the moment)

tho most would say no more than $45-50k msrp

basically contending with the GT500 price (if not cheaper)

Well I guess that would depend on what it would have, are we talking a GT500 fighter (Which I think should be be called a ZL1 in my opinion) or a great road course tuned up SS (which is what I am wishing happens). I could see paying 45K for a ZL1 base but I cant see paying more then 37K-38K for a Z28.

Many keep saying $50,000. This is a Camaro (and yes I love Camaros especially Z28's), but $50K is nuts. I would rather it be toned down some (make a base Z28 without all the luxo $$$ toys, but keep the performance, then offer options for those who want it and can/will spend crazy $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) and be realistically priced. A base Z28 should be in the low $40K at best. I'm not saying that too many toys added to the car wouldn't push it to $50K, I'm saying a $50K price tag on a Camaro is crazy!
I could, but I won't!

If memory serves the 1969 Z28 had a reasonable base price (most of the performance was included), but could swell in price considerably if optioned out. I believe they sold well this way in 69'. Some like less options, others all options, but most spend what they can/will.
