separate clutch reservoir. it made a huge difference in shifting and the clutch doesnt ever stick down or smell any more. cost less than 25 bucks but my father-in-law gave me a corvette reservoir. it would have still been under 100.

I also did a clutch fluid reservoir mod - actually, several... I went to a junkyard and pulled the reservoir off of a Toyota for $10. I also got a braided steel brake line from a desert runner with -4AN fittings on it ($59) to replace the crappy factory hard line with the crap rubber section. Found a site that makes fittings that will convert the o-ring/clip fitting on our cars to a -4AN fitting ($39/ea). Then I cut the factory hard line coming out of the slave cylinder, added a -4AN compression fitting, ran it into a McLeod line launch clutch solenoid (ok, this was way over $100 at $238). I then wired up some inexpensive switches I found online at Jegs.com for $50. I used a 40-amp buss I made that is relay-activated. I ran this power buss into the console, then made 5 independent, fused circuits. I got a shifter ball with a momentary switch for $62, and one more switch - a Hurst roll control switch for $23. I fabricated a simple plate to mount the switches under the stereo (I hadda sacrifice the little bin in the Metra dash kit) Here's how it all came together...
