hmmmm, what if you covered more of the tube to reflect more light, and direct the light to the top.
Meaning, covering the tube, well 3 quarters of it so that it reflects more light and directs it out the 33% that is not covered. That way there would be more light hitting the top edge of the pannel.
Anyone think this might work, or help in emitting more light?

You don need to do that's what the white strip on the pipe dos, It was made this way to reflect the light back up at you you need to turn it to get the most light.

No dimming. Since there is a light at the end as well. But, it runs almost the entire length. Check those last pix and you'll see how far it goes.

driver side light tube is connected to the light which is plugged in by the left side of the dash.

you only need one splitter...for use on the right passenger side behind the speedo.

yes...break it apart. once you get it through, you could try to put it back together...see what happens. but, i think i had to levae it apart so the insert would git back in place...don't remember. give it a shot, though!

that damn driver side pannel is soo stubborn, I still cant get the second clip out.
Any tricks or tips? Im afraid I might break the pannel

Nvm got it out, found a new method of getting those darn clips out from the front

Quick question:
Does the top of the inserts need to be sanded or does the light escape through the crack at the top?
And if it escapes from the crack, do we need to shim out the light bar, to make the gap bigger?
This thread is getting so long, it's hard to keep things straight.
