Not true. The 19" wheels with the Z rated Pirelli's that come standard on a non-RS 2LT or as an option with a 1LT are speed limited at 155 mph.

As far as I know, I believe the "z" rating on tires implies 155mph-186mph. Highest I have had it up to was 126mph, so the only thing I can say is that it is not limited like the 1lt's without the RS package and the LS models.

intake + lightweight 17 or 18 inch radials and a v6 should see mid to high 13s. granted you are going to need a good driver and you may need to take out the spare, jack and back seats.

The V6 and the V8 both look great. I can only tell them apart if I can see the hood or if I hear them from the exhaust. Buy what makes you happy. Both are head turners. n116ebo
