maybe he did say that at some point, I skipped SEVERAL pages of this thread.

i figured it was probably all a lot of people giving the kid hell for even caring about the other people, since he has such a nice car and is in high school.

Kinda sad that kids just dont understand how much different things are now than they used to be. A lot of people in this world have a chip on their shoulder and they think the rest of the world owes them something. SOME kids grow up thinking the same thing. (not saying this kid does). that V6 has 315 HP.... I wouldnt dare give my kid something with that much power for a first vehicle. Hell, probably would be hesitant if he was just going to college.

I have a Jeep wrangler with a 5.7 Hemi in it... That motor puts out about 350HP and it has WAY too much power for me to let a random adult get in it... much less a kid.

When I was in High School I had a Z71. It put out 250Hp. I thought that thing was a beast. When u consider the power loss from having 38 inch tires and stock gears.... thats saying something.

If I had a 2010 V6 Camaro in High School.... I woulda probably killed myself on the road.
just sayin

SO more power to ya kid... You think what you have isnt much because it isnt the V8... but what you have is still a 2010 camaro... and even if you cant hang out with dumb blondes and talk HP... you should feel better than every other kid at school.. to include them.. because not only do you have that car... but you know what that car is all about. You know what it can do. you know what it means to have a camaro
I don't think that more power necessarily means that a car is more dangerous. The way I see it, it just gets you to the speed limit that much quicker.
If anything, the power is more of a catalyst for making someone drive like an idiot, but in a brand new 2010, I would think they'd try and do the opposite of that.
