For fun (apples to apples), I had two C5 Z06's in at the end of last week, both we have serviced start to finish, One client has a vortech kit (centrifugal kit) with kooks long tubes, and the other has a kenne bell kit (roots blower) and kooks long tubes. Tell me which one is which, and who would win in a drag race (I am sure this will stir up some fun )

You are tooting a little loud. Thats a bold claim.

The second part depends on boost pressure... I know both Vortech and Kenne Bell makes great power but from I have discovered, the Kenne Bell produces more boost than a typical roots (maggie) blower.

I'm guessing the top (red) is the Kenne Bell (high early torque). Who would win is debateble. Depends on who could keep their wheels on the ground.

We do not currently have access with Hp Tuners, they have not decoded the PCM.

How ever there is a company called trifecta tuning (something along those lines) who has decoded around 20 or so tables and are offering some tuning options for the LLT.

Regards

Not really. Eric has tuned 4 of the of the top 6 fastest C6Z's on the planet at this point (And the 2 fastest over-all for almost 1 1/2 years). The list can be found here:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...fast-list.html

He just tuned the highest HP LS9 ZR1 on the planet a few weeks ago here:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/ipsmoto...7623877946145/

And as soon as it is complete, he will begin tuning our E100 / 220lb injector / GT55 Single-turbo C6Z in an attempt to break every Corvette IRS record out there:

I honestly think his resume speaks for itself

Now, back on topic

Both cars were making 6psi for that dyno-graph comparison. The KB kit makes 7psi out of the box but he lost a little boost with the headers so it is a very direct comparison in terms of boost pressure.

Oh, and since this is a Camaro forum I will post pics up of our almost-finished Twin-turbo kit for the 2010+ SS that will be available for sale soon. We were delayed in getting it to market sooner due to working on the ZR1 kit that can be seen in my previous post.

The "Prototype" car is a 6-speed and we have an Auto car dropping off Monday to TT so we will have solid numbers for both set-ups very soon.

Just to add one more option to this Roots Vs Centrifugal Vs Turbo debate

Oops. My mistake, confused a long block with a big block. Still learning!

pumps and wells... no thanks. I may live in the sticks but I do have public water. No access to natural gas, cable TV or decent internet but I do have good water!

Let us know!

I should be able to make it to Milford Friday. Wife is going to the Reds game with her mom & sister, so I need to have an excuse to make sure she doesn't take the Camaro.

Weather looks so/so now for tomorrow... I will be watching it. For now I still intend on driving the car to work and going to the cruise in...

They are calling for 40% chance of rain/storms around cruise in time... maybe a pop up here and there. I hope you all still plan on coming down and I hope the rain stays away.

I will keep an eye on the forcast and update later...
