Right? thats what I tried to portray to people. I bought a camaro bc ive always wanted one and this one was such a steal that if I didnt buy it i def wouldve regretted it. And it was the one roof on the lot I could see from 100yrds away haha

Mod kick off day 6#... it finally warmed up & the sun came out to play for a while . Started around 11am finished up at 4pm.. I got the old seat covers off & all brand new cover king covers on. Nice to see the bright green again . Cleaned the whole inside of the car, put seat belt pads on. Then put the edge trim on the ACS Rocker panels. Also put edge trim around the radiator shroud . Nice clean look. Then put on my billet custom covers for the power seat buttons. Then billet custom AC cap cover. Next put the bolt cap covers from upr over the fender panel bolts. Next was the billet custom caps over the retainer caps on the trunk drain lids. Put my new slime green hands on my rear windows . Added apocalypse edition emblems to the CAI box cover & the bottom of the Speedometer bezel .Also added new custom trunk release painted black with black Bio-Hazard symbol . Over all a great day.

Rain day again....Looks like rain for the next three days ...

On a good note...

I finally got my sample of powder coated bolts from route66mods.
tried them out on the wheels and look super sharp. Changing the chrome to black looks so much better and they pop . He's making me 100 of them now . can't wait to get them on the wheels so they will be complete.

Also got my center piece for the engine cover , Black Bio-Hazard symbol with black nickel . looks amazing , I'll post pics later .

Car is almost done , still have that grill lighting and under body lighting to do . next week is looking warmer .

You have no idea how good it is to have it back. It runs 1000x better than when I bought it so I'm guessing there was something wrong when I bought it. I haven't gotten to open it up yet because I'm still breaking in the motor but she sounds better, idles better, and the throttle response seems better.

I'm happy for you , Now did you get a cold air intake yet ? Add that on and maybe a Throttle body and exhaust , and you should be good to go .

Keep an eye on the oil ok .

Also very important thing to add, THIS IS A MUST FOR our V6 ...
Get an OIL CATCH CAN ......ASAP..... you won't be sorry ....

Currently checking the oil every gas fill up haha. Working on the cold air intake/exhaust/and VTC. Catch can will come as soon as I decide which one.

I'm cutting the exhaust off at the cats and getting rid of the stock resonators/h-pipe/mufflers and putting in a resonated x-pipe and straight pipes.

Sounds good my friend . I have the RX catch can , it has served me very well , took a while to get but well worth it . some people like other brands ,but I don't know the difference myself .

Watch out about your NY inspection on your exhaust , some guys had to put back on thier stock to pass the test . Have fun ,

I'm leaving the cats so this will be strictly a cat-back change which is perfectly passable for inspection in NY

OK , my bad , that's what I did also , I did a full cat back with the Borla .

Just ordered the GTS rear Black Out panel , got free shipping with my rewards points .

I think this will complete my black out look.
Going to paint the Chrome part of the Bow Tie Synergy Green . And the center is Billet Black . ..

I just have to find blackouts for the reverse light now. Any body know where to find these?
