Not trying to spend your money or anything (you're doing that just fine on your own), but those open rims are begging for some rotors like that ZR1.

I think the blue calipers will look great on your cgm.

Here is a link to the BP oil spill spoof video I mentioned to those at Applebees. I thought it was hilarious.

Here is a link to the AAC reverse LED lights.

Well that would be great! Would you be interested in going to Wexford PA on Friday, July 23rd? Its about an hour from you for the Starlite Car Cruise? It is Camaro night. I am making the trip up for it (weather permitting) with the wife. We will go to the show Friday in Wexford, then we can camarovan back to Ohio together. I will be going to North Jackson for Friday night, then back south either Saturday or likely Sunday.... Your call if you can get off Friday. You have to get to Wexford BEFORE 4:00 or I hear you can't get a spot... I will be getting there arond noon and catching up with a friend. let me know!

This goes for anyone else for that matter...

#1 That is a base C6 brake and wheel... the ZR1 brake is much larger in the wheel, a composite material and a 2 piece design. I know you are just posting it for a color comparison... I am just saying... Our Brembo brakes are better than what you have shown.

THIS is a ZR1 front rotor... note the differences.

#2 Do you mean the center ring on the ROTOR? It would look much better black. I am going to do that. Red calipers, new red stainless lines and paint the center ring on the rotor. I think the blue looks awesome.

It was thinking the same thing... it was very nice meeting you too! Sorry you missed dinner. Next time!

Upgrading to a ZR1 brake kit I am betting is more than a supercharger! Those are the same brakes as on the Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari FFX!

ZR1 Brakes:
The front brake rotors are similar carbon ceramic design as those employed in the Ferrari FXX track car, the difference being a diameter reduction from 15.75 in (400 mm) to 15.5 in (390 mm) for added wheel clearance. The front calipers are Brembo 6-piston units.

Rear calipers are Brembo 4-piston units. The rear brakes are 15 in (380 mm) carbon ceramic rotors, originally employed as the Enzo Ferrari's front rotors.

Both front and rear pads have twice the contact area of the Z06's, as well as the addition of brake pad wear sensors. The brake master cylinder, booster, ABS unit and system controller are now sourced from Bosch in place of Delphi.

As a result, the ZR1 will stop from 60 mph (97 km/h) in a current production car record breaking 96 feet (29.3 m).

Not a cheap upgrade but we are all for you doing it!

I have to work on July 23. That is the last day of summer term, but I may be able to get away by mid afternoon to attend that event in PA.
No rain last night at all for us or at the show but its rainin like the dickens now!

Hope you can make it to PA... Its proabably a 3 to 4 hour drive from Maysville. You'd shoot accross 70 to 79 north. Not a hateful drive, you can really wind it out. I was going like 85 getting passed repeatedly by everyone!

I'll have to see when it gets closer to the date...I have a golf outing at 8AM that Saturday & an annual pool party that Sunday, so it's already a busy weekend. I'd like to go though if I can swing it.

quick question for you guys... looking for a new jack for around the house that works great on these lowered cars. Any recommendations without breaking the bank? I have seen a lot of "low profile" jacks, but not familiar with their quality.

I have the 4 ton craftsman low profile. Pretty cheap and works great.

Rotors, pads, stainless brake lines, and brake fluid. I could have IPS put them on when they do the calipers.
$880 sounds like a good deal. I'd do it.

My dad's hinting at wanting an impact wrench for Father's Day.

Any suggestions? Can't be too expensive, I want to get an Xbox 360 too.

I have a craftsman combo set that has the wrench, gun and hammer. No problems here. I got a set and then a few more tools but you can spend around 70.00 for a impact wrench or up to a few hundred. Just what grade you /he want.

You can get a set for 179 that has a few things in it.

I like them but would go with a two piece similar to your slotted ones in the more recent post. For the whole kit from stillen is about what I have in mine. If I did it over, I would go with a two piece. aluminum.

D,

$200. WOW. I am surprised how bright, but that seems pretty high price-wise. I will wait to see when they hit the street.
