If you factor in the seven years they stopped making Camaro's, it should actually be the 38th year edition.

The guy who designed this steering wheel, and the guy who decided this Spark-styled steering wheel would make its way in the Camaro should be both sent to Guantanamo forever.

When is the SS going to get a bump in power??? Who cares about the V6, they should try and make sure the engine last through the first 10,000 miles before the try and make more power out of it. We need more LS power!!

Noticed the same thing. I think it was intentional. Probably another announcement coming out about a new 2012 radio.

Nice to have more tech options, nav, and a color screen.

Hopefully it will fit in the 2011 dash....

Don't need to buy the whole new car.

I agree the stripes suck. Everything else is fine, except 11 more HP is nothing.

My V6 spins the tires just fine fully loaded.

Email sent to dealer with list of "requirements" nothing major. If that goes over well, I'll talk to the wife. Depending on how that goes, I may have the first one from my dealer... That was one of my "requirements"

Sorry 2010, I do LOVE you but the 2012 45AE is just perfection... refined!

Hmm, I've had my 2011 1LT for one month and already a new & improved engine is coming out and a couple options I paid extra for with the RS package will be standard... feel a little hood-winked (whatever that is exactly).
Also, I know Chevy is kind of looking for reasons to offer refreshes/updates every x-number of months to compete with what Ford keeps doing with the Mustang but a 45th Anniversary edition seems kind of like a "so what" number.
And even though I like the idea of a front quarter panel emblem and think this one "looks" OK I think it is a bit ambiguous. I think alot of "uninitiated" people seeing it will ask "45th what?" I think it may have been better if they incorporated a "45th Edition" logo into the center of the flag 1967 emblem or something.

The mustang had a 40th and 45th anniv badge. No, it wasn't a huge deal but eh, it's a milestone. I do agree... 45th AE with a 7 year break (03-09) seems odd...

I just got my V6 two weeks ago... I'm not too sad about the 11 extra hp or the steering wheel... But I did care for the rearview camera.... has anyone tried to retro fit one of those on their '10 or '11 camaros?

No way this group fully represents the camaro customer base. They dont represent me.
Not to bash those guys or anything, prob a great group of people, but to say you listen to a small group of people and equate that to listening to your customer base is just wrong to put it lightly.

Gee i wonder how i could get accurate feedback from my real customers?
Its not that hard, but for some reason most companies struggle with this simple task. In this day and age, its easier than ever to reach out to your customer base but yet last i checked no one is really doing that in a meaningful way.

Sure this site is a great resource for chevy, but even this site (as large as it is) is not an accurate representation of the customer base, so how can a small group of "Disciples" be.

If i were GM, i would use Onstar to initiate a direct one to one relationship with my customers. They could have onstar reps ask you if you wanted to take a short survey about your experience with a new car say 6months to a year after you purchase it. And also let it be known that you can call up onstar any time and give your feedback.
Who else in the auto industry could pull this off as easily with existing tech? No one. So why isnt GM doing this already?
FWIW I did get something in the mail about a year after I got my Camaro a specific survey about what I like and don't like about the Camaro and improvements I think could be made. Maybe they only sent it to early purchasers?

To me, technology and muscle cars go together like pees and carrots...

How about HD Radio standard? Something that does not require ANOTHER monthly bill (XM, OnStar), but adds value, and relatively inexpensive... Do people want to add more monthly bills in this economy? I don't think so...
You do realize that less than 50% of the total US cell phone installed base is iOS based. To put a huge dock for an iPad or even a small dock in the dash for an iPhone not only would look like shit, but would be utterly useless for a HUGE percentage of the market.

I'm all for integrated connectors like we have now, but theres too many different shapes and sizes of phone to do something like you propose.

Interested in the FE4 suspension package and the body color shark fin antenna, although I wouldn't want to drop the headliner to install

Other than drilling for the strut tower brace, anyone know if the FE4 parts are direct bolt-ons?
