It was good to see you guys out there too today. My time didn't hold up after the second heat. I'm not sure but I think I ended up in 6th or 7th. I'm pretty happy with it though. It was my very first event. Here's a clip of my 8th and final run. I was stoked when I heard I jumped to the first in the novice class. It was a BLAST! I had wayyyy more fun at this event than I've ever had at the drag strip. It's a lot more challenging I think too. I'm hooked... next mod might be brakes, but I'll be doing the SPOKEs event on 9 Oct.... I'd like to see some more C5 members out there so we can get some friendly competition going... It's a BLAST! I promise you will all love it! PLUS if you want to ride in a Pedderized track II camaro you can ride with me and we can trade cars for a few runs too if you want to feel the difference back to back. You should have seen the trans am that was out there with some of the WORST body roll I've ever seen. I thought he was going to break something. Anyways... I'm VERY pleased with my setup so far. I wasn't expecting to be able to hang with all the little nimble, light weight cars but she did. The NT05s did great and the pedders mods helped keep them planted. Even on the long sweeping turn. I'm still on a high from the event today... I can't wait till the next one. I hope to see you out there.

Thanks! It was smooth. I was terrible at first. My first few runs were in the the low 40 second range. I was trying to power through it instead of picking the right line and using smooth inputs. It felt slow but it was faster in the end.

Had a fun evening playing hoops with the young 20 year-olds over at Lupe's house tonight. His daughter, Alexis, played also. Didn't know Lupe was pretty competitive!! I'm going to start calling him Spud Dimas!!

Too long of a drive? There's nothing more fun than driving for 1200 miles in a pack of your closest Camaro friends!
