He still thinks he's changing minds here on Camaro5 by pointing out things he doesn't think we are aware of. Gen61le......you spend alot of time degrading the 5th gen.....I'm wondering with the amount of comments regarding performance of your car do you have times or vids of you actually using your car? I can respect guys that trash talk but at least run their car....not comment on other owners accomplishments. Just wondering how many 5th gen owners with a few bolt ons would gap you at any track.......straight or with twisties. If you at least run your car then I respect that...but if you continue your comments and you end up being a key board racer....well then we can really discuss who's faster right? Its not what your car does its what you can make it do.

You keep forgetting the subject we are talking about here , like i have said before i have owned 2 gen 5s and now a gen 6 , i have insight on both .You seem to be having trouble keeping up with the subject . When you say that Camaro is following Mustangs that tells me you know little about them . I would also leave it up to the forum to decide who knows nothing about either, also i will add a bit from Motortrend that had to do with a recent Head2Head , then let me know who is following who .
For the record, the quickest time we’ve ever seen around the figure eight is 22.2 seconds, put down by both the Porsche 918 Spyder and the Lamborghini Huracán Performante. Meaning the Camaro 1LE is within spitting distance. When I asked our handling guru Kim Reynolds what he thought about the two cars after lapping them, he looked first to the Camaro then disparagingly glanced at the Mustang and said, “There’s about 4,000 years of evolution separating the two.”

Yeah, read the previous posts, because the forum has decided. Seriously, it's sorta sad now.

I'm not trying to do anything but stay in the subject matter here and thats all i will do . I could care less who you respect or don't and i won't get into anything personal outside of the subject . It seems you have nothing to contribute to the subject being talked about here which is 5th Gen or 6th Gen, in case you forgot, just don't try to turn it into something else, because i won't play that with you. I understand the rules here .

So lets see your contributions....so far most of your posts contain nothing really new or unknown. Your just repeating what Camaro 5 members already know and have discussed at lentgh. Ya it has a updated platform....yes the tech is updated as it should be. What else...oh ya the design quality is a huge success.... sorry that was my 5th gen design comment. Oh right the retro look should never have occured because you like the look of every other kind of car on the road design. You have bern pretty much fighting the good fight by trying to insult most 5th gen members because they have a car you dont think should ever have happened. That's about all you have offered.

I will be the first to admit i am not a fan of retro , and with the 10 to 13 Camaros i feel they don't do the 69 justice and should not have had gone that way . Building on a full size platform did not help the look . You can love the look all you want but i don't feel it has the staying power . The 2014 and 15 was much better looking in my opinion . I think its funny when you say i like the look of every other car on the road but yet you drive a car with a with a look of a 40 year old car, now there is a lot of originality .I see a lot more Camaro originality in my 6th gen then in your 5th gen . I don't feel i have insulted anyone and i really doubt any feels insulted by me , i have given good information though even if you don't like it . The 5th or 6th argument will never stop and is far from the only argument in the Camaro world .
