Lots of factors could be at play - take a look at this series of photos I took in 2002 of a Coast Guard HH-65 at a New Orleans airshow.

The aircraft is one shade of orange. You can't tell that from the photos though .

I took all of the photo's in about 5 minutes. It was overcast and raining, so the lighting never really changed. With certain colors, it's all about the lighting, angles, and distance....one reason I don't trust photos 100%. It has to be seen in person.

They actually put the seams on the inside of the material so that you do not see them when you are looking at the dash. They still function the same, it just makes the dash look a lot nicer and more put together.

Damn this car is beautiful. This is like my 4th post saying pretty much the same thing....but this car has just blown my expectations out of the ball park....and I was expecting alot!

I'm pretty impressed with their final implementation of the exterior. I especially like the view from the rear quarter-panel. The headlights are a bit peculiar looking, but I'll reserve judgment until I lay my own eyes upon one.

I was hoping for a fully modern, but classy, interior. Nonetheless, I believe that I can get used to most of the interior save for the 1960's style speedo & rev meter and the cheap looking knobs below the stereo (the knobs look they were stolen from a Pontiac -- Chevy should have left the Pontiac designers out of the picture). I was impressed by the use of stitched leather on the shifter, seats and steering wheel; a nice touch.

Another interior gripe... where's the nav system? Don't tell me they are doing a pop-up nav system! Nav better be an option. No nav, no sale.

Kinda bummed there are no paddle shifters on the auto's. Other than that, everything looks great. I am impressed with the specs, over 400 HP with the V-8 is nice, was a little afraid they would put the L76 in there. Plus a 300 hp v-6? You can't beat that. I would almost wait to see what they put out next year, possibly a DI V-8 gen V engine? That would be really, really mean. Great look though, its time to get excited. Thanks for the info!

If the red one is really a V6 RS, it makes me want a V6 RS.... not that I want a V8 Z/28 any less............. but IF this is the base (or near it) ....... can NOT wait till monday

My Xterra's got big plastic panel that would pop out.

Minivans - not even on my radar, so I've never looked at 'em. As for the C6, or any Corvette unless I win the lottery, I'll never be able to afford one - too depressing to look at them that closely....
