yah, some pissant mag broke the embargo. as mentioned, major press gets privvy to the information prior to official release. there supposed to wait til the break of midnight on the day of the official release.

im sad they decided to break the embargo so early.

and for all those worried about the chopped images, GM released the same type of "beauty shots" for the ZR1, and the actual photographic shots that turned up later were absolutely identical. so i wouldnt worry about that.

im disappointed for scott, the camaro team, and the disciple crew. this must be one hell of a letdown.

therefore, im reserving all other comments and kudos for the monday unveiling, where they can chime in and rightfully enjoy all the glory they deserve.

this is a nice tease, but im gonna pretend i didnt see it.

stay frosty, people!!!! wait for monday!!!!!

You and me both.
But suffice to say, even though people are getting excited now; there's more to come on Monday to get excited about.

That has got to be the most un-thought through statement I have read on this site yet! Do you really think a niche car which Chevrolet expects to sell a mere 100,000 of, will turn the tables at GM? GM has a whole list of problems which have nothing to do with the products they offer.

Toyota BTW, sold 400,000 Corollas last year and with the current gas prices, you can expect that figure to climb higher this year.

has not the RS package always come with some sorta special stripes or gfx?, I see neither on these..so what exactly classifies this as an "RS" besides the badge...as opposed to the normal V6? (non rs)

I guess this cannot be answered at this time...however I find it interestingly valid..and would like to see the REAL "official" RS. as I'm willing to bet it has more to offer. (Not implying it doesn't have much to offer.)

I can't remember which one it was because I've read so many in the last few hours, but one of the articles said the RS package added the spoiler, 20" wheels and HIDs. There might be something else I'm forgetting. Of course, none of this is confirmed until Monday at the earliest.

Has anyone else noticed the difference in the color of yellow between pictures 31 and 32? I am sure it has to do with the lighting, but, the color of picture 32 looks alot closer to that of the BB car.

I noticed something looking at the interior shots - with all the concern for passenger safety, where's the front seat passenger airbag going to deploy from??? There are no seams anywhere above that glove box.

One of the previous posts pointed out that the rest of the car was not visible outside the windshield. I bet we are looking at a mockup. Probably 99% of the final form, materials, etc. but not the interior of an actual car. Basically a prop for interior photos and someone forgot the passenger side airbag.... oops....

Regardless of where the pics came from, whether they were 'chops or not, it all looks incredible.

To all the men and women who helped make this car a reality, much

For consideration:
There doesn't need to be seams. If it's a softer material or even just designed to break correctly, the airbag could be designed to bust right through it. See: last generation Dodge minivans....
