October 18th the Muscle car Club might be holding a private Test n Tune event, cool air and good prep, might get your 11's then.

I'll definitely be there, that one they did last year was one of the most fun times I've had at the track. Should be no problem getting that 11sec slip with good weather.

I chopped the factory mufflers off drove it home last night and back today. Now I know how bad drone can really be! I'm going to take a chance on these corsa mufflers I got off craigslist. I duct taped them on and drove about a mile and didn't hear any rattles or anything, one of the mufflers has a dent in it so I'm worried about a broke baffle or weld, corsa mufflers are funky looking inside. I'm going to gamble and go get them welded on. I'm sure I'll go spend the money and then they will start rattling.

The tips were pretty scratched too so I plastidipped them. A lot of people say it holds up just fine so we will see. I might put some different tips on later if it all works out well.

Interesting to say the least, I pretty much had to baby it around because it sounds so bad. It definitely let me know I don't ever want cutouts. Hopefully i can get over to the muffler shop today and put these on.

Ok I went and got the corsas welded up, and man oh man is it quiet. It really is nice. Zero drone, none. I forgot how well these mufflers work at cancelling out those frequencies. It even sounds pretty good with the h-pipe. I'm guessing it would get even quieter with a resonated x-pipe. Possibly TOO quiet. No rattles or broke weld sounds so far so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'd like to quit messing with my exhaust at some point.

The black tips are ok I guess, I like chrome tips but this turbo setup makes it impossible to keep them clean so flat black is probably a good idea.

I have the chrome corsa tips. They are usually black. I would have loved to have the black tips. Maybe I'll just high temp paint them sometime

I thought that too but I've looked at a lot of forums and people seem to have no problems with it. I'll put it to the test for you.
