Based on everything I read you can install just the gears and it SHOULD be fine...

The 1LE diff is basically the same as ours just different gears from what I can tell. So they axles will just insert and clip into the C clips like ours.

Me too but not till the off season.

What did it cost you?

For those of you thinking of doing a Gear upgrade are you considering any other mods? Like the Jannetty billet caps, Posi Mods or Eaton Detroit Truetrac Diff? Or others?

I am wondering if any of these would help me on the road course?? Thoughts?

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

I talked to Ted and he said it would work in my car since its only a weekend car, but he also said it might be a little tight.

What do you all think?
Did you happen to get it from Grocerygetter, Skeetoe?

Mmmmm I have been think of doing gears too. Second gear is to much out of most turns and third lags to much. Thinking gears would help a lot.

Yup site was down yesterday. If anyone needs or knows anyone that needs a strong maf sensor let me know I'll give mine away. I didn't have a weak sensor my good buddy's at the shop decieded to to leave my boost line open. I may amend mr Apex thread about sensors, LEAVING THE BOOST LINE OPEN will also give you a MAF reading of 1.4 or 1.5, which looks like a weak MAF sensor. So anyway compliments of KHC I have a strong maf sensor if anyone needs it.
