If you have any kind of after market exhaust installed check the tunnel brace. If the exhaust has dropped at all it will cause a rattling noise and drive you crazy. You just need to readjust the exhaust pipes and tighten the clamps.

i never thought about the fluid ill cheak that tomarro.
and no burning smell and it only rattles on bumps and when you hit the gas.

While you have it up on the ramps, check the tightness of bolt on the rear of the drive train.

Michael Shaw had an issue where a few bolts worked themselves loose and caused some major damage.

Was that a problum with the 1987 to? :0 or just in general
And yea I heard about that I definatly can't afford that to happen to my car

Ive spent the last 5 hours under the rearend of my car looked at everything and still no dice I'm figureing the shocks,springs,ebrake but I can't figure that stuff out till tomarro hopefully i can get to the meet

Shocks would rarely rattle. The only way a shock would rattle is if the rubber at either end has deteriorated to the point there was metal to metal contact assuming the bolts / nuts are tight. Inspect the shock rubber at both ends.

alright ill take a look at that right now ive looked over everything i could think of except the ebroke i may take the whole braket off and call it a day if thats what it is.
