Try this place, I got mine there, you want the C-6 Z-06 18"x9.5" with the +40mm offset. They look like this.

I'm going to be running 265/40/18 Mickey Thompson DR......a lot of people think they are too small, but well see, I think they will hook up just fine at my HP level with bolt ons and a tune. I don't care for Nitto DR. The 9.5" rim will limit you to how wide of a DR you can go with, just check with whichever manufacturer DR you go with as to what sizes will work with that wheel.

Hey guys, on a 18 10.5 would you run the 305 45 or the 315 30?

If you have the stock gears I'd go with the 315 30 its over all diameter is 25.5" where the 305 45 is 27.5. That way you get the benifit of a better final drive ratio. Thats one of the reasons why I am using the size DR that I am.

On an 18 inch wheel wouldn't the 45 give me the same diameter?

Nope look at the link I posted a couple back and look at the overall diameter column one is 25.5" and the other is 27.5" The stock 20" tires on the SS are 28.7" On my car the DR are 26.5" overall diameter which is 2" smaller than the stock tires, when you run that thru the ratio calculator it will give me an effective final drive ratio of 3.76:1 as opposed to the 3.45:1 with the stock tires. So I get the effect of having 3.76 gears, it's easier on the drive train too.

Nitto sells a 285/40/18. That should fit the 9.5 width rim. Could I get these rims widened and they still fit on the car so I can run wider tires?

I'm sorry it took so long to reply. tsw nurburgrings 18" x 9.5" rears (NT05R), and 18" x 8" front. I did have to swap to hawk non rollerskate brake pads in the front and had to tie back the e-brake cable in the rears to make them work. I have to say this swap has really made a seat in the pants differance.

I was about to post the same thing. Don't over look the very light weight TSW Nurburgrings. I believe they only weigh around 18 lbs in the 18" wheel size and are reasonably priced. Just recently someone was selling a pair of 18" Nurburgrings with NT05R tires in the members for sale section for 800.00. I run the 20" Nurburgrings and they only weight 23 lbs (front 20x9) and 24 lbs (rear 20x10). I'm using the NT555R 305/35/20 drag radials. My best 60' is 1.74 sec with this setup (bolt ons). |

I thought Corvettes still have the 5 on 4.75 pattern. If so is that close enough to bolt up and thats why you guys are runnin em?
