Well Pink. sorry to hear you have given up. Because I truly think you would have painted a pretty good looking camaro. Oh well, at least you have decided to buy it's big brother. There is nothing wrong with that in my book.

You and I went 3000 around the same time. I see you are at 3300 around 4/30. I just went to 3400 this past weekend. I think things are moving now, you will see your car start moving along. The vette looks nice, but not nearly as nice as your Camaro.

I say wait for the maro...I mean, were so close now. You would look good
in than vette but a black maro w/ pink, man..you would be off the chain!

Dude, I'm about there right now. . . . It's been 7 months since I (pre) ordered my car. . . there's a red Solstice GXP sitting at my dealership. . . If GM shuts down in July if the declare bankruptcy. . that will be the straw that breaks my back.

Hang in there Pink. As far as the TPW goes, I would not get too worked up about that. My dealer informed me that he can no longer get TPWs on any car that has been pulled. He thinks GM stopped giving them out because of all the inquires they were getting. I'm at 3300 also. Just hang on a little longer!!!

Unfortunately, the key word is patience.

It is only a mere 7 weeks after start of production and you are giving up hope of a new Camaro.

Thousands of cars have been built and shipped. Best guess is the line rate will be 400+ per day so a month or so and all the pre orders should be built. In theory at least using simple math.

Hang in there.

Or buy a Corvette. That's good too.

GM wont shut down if they declare bankruptcy. People have many misconceptions on what bankruptcy means. They will just reorganize. GM wont die.

I understand the won't "disappear". . But the plant will stop production until all the details are worked out. . just like Chrysler.
