I'm so jealous! I'd be happy to make sand angels instead of snow angels! I miss the beach :( I grew up in Hawaii more specifically on the island of Maui. Kaanapali beach was my playground. Believe it or not, I haven't always been as pale as I am now

This is why I'll never leave SoCal. Sure there's smog nazis and a high cost of living, but there's also Pacific Coast Highway with the T tops off.

Gotta love the PCH! I was stationed at Pt. Mugu for a couple of years... I had to take the PCH to the base everyday... what a awful drive

I feel sorry for those of you who have to park you cars for the winter, this is one of the reasons I will never move out of Ca. I can ride my Harley or drive my wife's Camaro year round and still be a short drive to either the beach or the mountains !

I wouldn't know... I've only heard stories.
My cool car is manly enough to drive straight through the winter

yay for camaro!

I love driving on cloudy winter nights... very cozy... and warm, and you can imagine yourself having to walk instead of drive, and the really appreciate the car! :P

Is the metal underneath the car manly enough to stand up against road salt?

I just can't imagine doing it... as much as I'd love to drive the Camaro year round, if I lived up North I wouldn't be able to stomach knowing what that crap is doing to my undercarriage. If you drive your car in the winter and plan to keep it rust-free, then it requires, like... DAILY undercarriage cleaning.

Now we can shift Camaro production to the smile states.

Start piling them up, boys!

Snow? Yup, I love driving to it - like Mammoth, or Tahoe - in my Girlfriends 4x4 Tacoma! Born & raised in NYC, so I do know cold & snow though!

Oh, tomorrow is the 1st day of Autumn, not today

Ok all you cynical Southerners and Westerners. Up north at least we don't need to board up our windows and leave the state every other day when a storm "Might" come our way. We also never worry about fires or earth quakes destroying our homes and Camaro’s with them. Yes we have the occasional Tornado but I have never see a Tornado in my 45 years living up north, they are not usually wide spread disasters like earth quakes, fires and hurricanes.

Yes we have to lock up our hot rods in the winter but that just keeps the miles off and makes them last longer. It also gives us more quality time with our women if you know what I mean.
