SS/RS Auto with leather (for the ambient lighting) and the BA sound system. Hopefully for around $30k with my GMS discount.
Thinking about Cyber Gray or Imperial Blue with black hockey stripes. The last few months are going to be a painful wait... |

I think, (not completely sure) but the SS2 is pretty much the same as the LT2 package, i think it upgrades you to leather, ambient lighting...........

Then we've got a base level and loaded SS. The base V-8 entry is for buyers who want ultimate performance, but not necessarily things like leather seats (it's more bare bones). The loaded SS comes with leather, a Boston Acoustics audio system, electro-chromatic mirrors, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth capability, remote-start on the automatic transmission, and a USB port and wireless interface. If you have your iPod or a device plugged into the center console, you can use steering-wheel controls to scroll through song selections. The loaded V-6 and V-8 Camaro also have auxiliary gauges - the four gauges just forward of the shifter. http://www.automobilemag.com/new_and...wer/index.html |

After redoing my pricing estimates, I've come to 1 conclusion: that I have to be really happy with my car. Since it is going to be hard for me to get a V6 and want to keep it as a classic, it is just more important to me that mine be a V8.
If I downsize my expectations, I can better afford the V8 that I want. Assuming it comes in at $27,000, I can afford an automatic with the RS package and a USB port for my iPod. That's all I really want. I can live without the center gauges and leather seats. It's just more important that I get the SS sooner.

I want the SS Coupe, manual, LS3, loaded, and have $40,000 waiting. Orange or Yellow, maybe with stripes.

I'm getting RS/SS, Manual, HUD, stripes (if looks good) and I want some dealer-installed too like cold-air etc. I'm getting just about everything I can get!

I want the LT V6, RS package, stripes, and the four pack gauges if they don't come with the LT. The steering wheel controls and the ungraded audio and whatnot just don't matter to me at all. In fact, I'd rather NOT have the steering wheel controls in particular - I think they look stupid. Heres to hoping the LS V6 comes with no controls, so that I can replace the wheel some day.
