The black cable is production, unfortunately. I'm not a fan of it going through the opening like that, but its not that big of a deal. I'm not positive, but it likely is the electronic trunk release.

It's a darker blue than I expected, almost black. It looks kind of like the "midnight blue" on the GTO. I was hoping it would be a smidge more on the "blue" side.

I think this color is going to be one of those that changes with the light intensity. Those motion pics were all taken on a partly cloudy/hazy day. I bet the color pops to life in the bright sunshine. It still looks good in those pics too though.

go look at a new impala or malibu. they have the same IBM. it's quite dark, but lightens up in bright light
